Lake Okeechobee Florida Report

  We had a lot of rain for the last few days so the Lake is rising with the lake level at about 15 ft.so you don't have to be as careful where you are running.  The water temperature is any where from 78 degrees to 84 degrees depending on water clarity.     The brim are  in moonshine bay at this time with some big beds of them.  The Bass are still eating wild shiners with a lot of bass being caught.  The Bass are hitting spinner baits, worms, top water plugs, and some  shallow crank baits.   Look for the cleaner moving water and you should find schooling bass in them areas.   Remember do not believe all that you read in the papers about Lake Okeechobee, if you ask  a guide they will let you know on lake conditions and they are the ones that are on the lake.
